GLBT Studies

GLBTQ (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transsexual, Transgender, and Queer) Philosophy is a small field, still in its beginning stages. As a result, we have had a difficult time collecting clear data on Ph.D. granting departments where it is possible to study the field at the graduate level and write a dissertation dealing with this subject. The list below is tentative, and we are grateful to the small advisory board that has helped put it together. We encourage any and all relevant information you may have regarding Ph.D. granting departments that allow or encourage GLBTQ philosophy.

For information about the basis of these recommendations, please go to our FAQ and Methodology pages.
